Founded by Darrell and Chris Freeman, alongside their children Misty and Caylon, this powerhouse ensemble has recorded over twenty-five albums and earned numerous accolades, including multiple number one hits on the Singing News charts.

Chris Hawkins Freeman, hailed as the Queen of Gospel Music for her remarkable contributions during her tenure with the Hinsons, has left an indelible mark on the genre. In 2006, Chris was honored with induction into the Gospel Music Hall of Fame, standing among legends like Elvis Presley and Aretha Franklin. Her passion for music and unwavering commitment to faith have been instrumental in shaping The Freemans' dynamic sound and enduring legacy.

Darrell Freeman, recognized as a living legend in the Gospel Music community, received the prestigious Living Legend Award from Gospel Voice Magazine's Gospel Music Awards in 2023. His leadership and dedication to the craft have been instrumental in guiding The Freemans to continued success. Darrell began his musical journey at the age of 13, singing with his family group, The Pathways. He later met his wife, Chris, and together they have instilled their passion for music and servant leadership in their children, Misty and Caylon.

Their commitment to connecting with listeners on an emotional level, regardless of background or beliefs, underscores their enduring impact on the Gospel Music scene.

Together, The Freemans have graced stages such as the Grand Ole Opry, Silver Dollar City, and National Quartet Convention, captivating audiences with their powerful performances. Their multitude of number one songs and numerous awards, including CC Song of the Year, Best Concept Video, and Group of the Year, attest to their unparalleled talent and impact on the genre.  Their single, "He Chose Me," debuted at no. 9 on the Singing News chart, making it the highest debut in the chart's history. Additionally, The Freemans achieved a remarkable feat with four different songs simultaneously in the Top 40 chart.

In 2013, they released "Lead Me Home," a heartfelt dedication to Darrell's mother, Wilma, who passed away from Alzheimer's disease. The accompanying music video featured Gospel Music icon, Buck Rambo. The song and video garnered widespread acclaim, winning all four major awards it was nominated for.

Joined by Darrell's cousin Joe Freeman on keyboards and vocals, The Freemans' harmonious blend continues to captivate audiences across the country. With each performance, they bring a spirit of celebration and anointing, leaving audiences uplifted and inspired.
